At Kokomo Zion we believe that God is honored through a variety of musical styles. We firmly believe that God speaks through great hymns lead by our choir and organ, gospel songs, and today's contemporary songs lead by our praise team. On any given Sunday you'll hear a multitude of musical styles lead by our multi-generational musicians.

Worship Choir
Our choir leads worship weekly with a break in July and the beginning of August. They sing a variety of styles from Bach to Gaither to Tomlin. Each December they are joined by friends and guest musicians to present Christmas at Zion to a packed church. Choir rehearsals are Thursday evenings from 7:00pm - 8:30pm. Anyone from middle school and older is welcome to join.

Zion's Praise Team leads worship weekly alongside our choir. The vocalists and instrumentalists are scheduled on a rotating basis. Rehearsals are Sundays at 9:15am. Any one in middle school and older is welcome to join.

Handbell Choir
Zion owns a three-octave set of Malmark Handbells. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings from 6:00pm - 6:45pm September through June. We currently have openings for ringers. If you read music and are interested, please contact our Director of Music Matt Gerhard.

Our media department is integral to our services. In addition to the lyrics for our music and responses, announcements and sermon notes are displayed on the screens. If you are high school age or older and interested in being a part of the rotation, please contact our Director of Music Matt Gerhard.
